Men’s, Women’s Basketball reaches Mid-Season Holiday Break; Take a look into the 2024 Winter seasons so far
Men’s Basketball
Head Coach Mike Romano’s first season as the Knights Head Coach is well underway, and what in most programs would be a full rebuilding season, still has some promise for Rhode Island. As of 12/23, the Knights sit at .500 with a record of 6-6. The Knights are 5-6 in conference play in a competitive Region XXI. In the conference standings, the top 5 make the postseason, and the Knights are in 6th place, just a game out of the playoffs.

Women’s Basketball:
The Lady Knights came into the season at #8 overall in the NJCAA DIII National Poll, and have held that reign all season. Going into the New Year, the Lady Knights sit at 9-2 overall, a perfect 7-0 in Region XXI play. They are the #1 seed in Region XII. Take a look at the standings below.
